"The Egg" Showroom, Currey & Company
Conceived during the height of the pandemic, "The Egg" (The Ellipse) is a visionary "showroom-within-a-showroom" located within the Atlanta Americas Mart. Spanning 690 square feet, this sculptural installation serves as a premier, immersive gallery designed to showcase rotating exhibitions and one-of-a-kind artifacts in a setting that feels worlds away from the busy trade mart floor.

Atelier 7 was commissioned to design a new family residence that would utilize some of the salvaged material to create a 3-bedroom residence, outdoor pool, deck, and future studio for his wife. Located in Carrollton, Georgia, this custom bespoke residence represents the first container home in Carrollton, Georgia, and our first hybrid house combining shipping container construction with traditional building systems. The building lot was exposed on all sides with a primary entrance off of a rural highway. The heart of the house is a large rectangular volume that increases in height as the house steps down the hill.
